The week of the McDonald's All American Game events is upon us.
One of the marquee moments for high school hoops every year, McDonald's All American week puts all of the best boys' and girls' prospects under one roof to showcase their talent in front of a national audience.
It all started with the Powerade Jamfest on Monday, March 27, where McDonald's All Americans competed in Knockout, the 3-Point Contest and Slam Dunk Contest.
When the participants were announced on Monday afternoon, it was met with some surprise that Bronny James, the son of LeBron, would be showing off his athleticism in the Slam Dunk Contest. As for the 3-Point Contest, Andrej Stojakovic, the son of NBA All-Star Peja, headlined a list of boys' and girls' sharpshooters.

9:10 p.m. Both Bronny James (undeclared) and Sean Stewart (Duke commit) battled to the end but it was Stewart who came out victorious.

9:06 p.m. The final is going to come down to Bronny James and Sean Stewart. The sons of two former Cavaliers.
9:04 p.m. Bronny James (undeclared) brings out his little brother Bryce Maximus, who is 6'5''. He missed his first three attempts at jumping over Bryce and double pumping but on the fourth attempt, he ditched the double pump and finished. He scores a 63.

9:02 p.m. Sean Stewart (Duke commit) uses the Mac McClung self-lob, touch the backboard with the ball and finish. He scored a 63.
8:59 p.m. Bronny James, Sean Stewart, Elmarko Jackson and Matas Buzelis have moved on to the final round.
8:58 p.m. Bronny James (undeclared) missed his first three attempts at a self-lob, catch with the right hand and cup it slam, but went with a self-lob windmill with power to get a dunk home. He scored a 57 for a total of 122. That's good enough to get him to the final.
8:55 p.m. Matas Buzelis (G League Ignite commit) does a 360, through the legs and finishes with his right hand. He missed his first two attempts at the dunk so he scored a 62 for a total of 132. He's now tied with Jackson for the lead.
8:51 p.m. Ron Holland (Texas commit) throws down a self-lob windmill. He missed the first attempt so he got a score of 54 for a total of 111, good for second place behind Jackson's 132.
8:48 p.m. Stephon Castle (UConn commit) finally saw a dunk go through the hoop after a number of failed attempts, a self-lob, windmill. He got a score of 51 for a total of 100.
8:43 p.m. Mookie Cook (Oregon commit) tried to jump over both Aden Holloway and Reed Sheppard from the baseline on his first attempt. He wasn't able to do it. His second attempt at the same dunk was no better and he ran out of time. He got the lowest score possible a 49 for a two-round total of 104.
8:41 p.m. Elmarko Jackson (Kansas commit) jumps over Ronald McDonald and a young fan. He was given a perfect score of 70 for a two-round total of 132.
8:34 p.m. Sean Stewart (Duke commit) jumps over fellow McDonalds All American Mackenzie Mgbako with a one-handed windmill slam. He was given a score of 63.
8:32 p.m.: Jeremy Fears Jr. (Michigan State commit) the shortest guy in the dunk contest standing 6'1'' throwing a self-lob, catches with two hands and sends it in with the right hand. He was given a score of 56 for missing a couple of dunks.
8:30 p.m.: Bronny James (undeclared) throws down a nasty two-handed reverse off of a self-lob! He was given a score of 65.

8:26 p.m.: Matas Buzelis (G League Ignite commit) with the first perfect score! The big fella dished a self-alley-oop off the bounce through his legs and threw down a mean one-handed jam.

8:24 p.m.: Ron Holland (Texas commit) with a nasty two-handed up-and-under, finishing on the other side of the rim! He earned a score of 57.
8:23 p.m.: Stephon Castle (UConn commit) tried to throw down a reverse dunk off of a lob but didn't complete any of his dunk attempts.
8:20 p.m.: Mookie Cook (Oregon commit) missed his first couple of attempts but threw down a through-the-legs jam off two feet. He earned a score of 55.
8:19 p.m.: Elmarko Jackson (Kansas commit) starts the contest off strong with a lob and windmill, throwing it down on the first try. He earned a score of 62.

8:10 p.m.: Jared McCain just scorched the net! The Duke commit put on the best shooting performance of the night so far, finishing with a score of 27 points.
8:08 p.m.: Andrej Stojakovic (Stanford commit) couldn't replicate his dad's performance in the 2003 NBA 3-Point Contest. Stojakovic finished with a score of 15.
8:04 p.m.: Ja'Kobe Walter (Baylor commit) came out firing, making every shot in his first rack. He cooled off as the contest went on, finishing with a score of 19.
7:56 p.m.: Kymora Johnson (Virginia commit) started off slow but caught fire in the back half, finishing with a score of 20 to win the girls' 3-point competition!
7:55 p.m.: Emma Risch! The Notre Dame commit finishes got hot on the last rack to take the lead with a score of 19.
7:53 p.m.: Tessa Johnson (South Carolina commit) got the girls' 3-Point Contest started off right with a score of 16.

The event will take place at the Delmar Athletic Complex in Houston, Texas. The 5000-seat venue used to be the home of the Houston Cougars men's basketball team.
