Dunlap’s Tessa Sutton brought people together for “Team Tessa”, now teammates and coach remember her life

DUNLAP (25News Now) - Dunlap’s Tessa Sutton lost her battle with cancer Friday, just days following her 17th birthday. The Eagles’ soccer player’s impact went far beyond the sports field.
Sutton was destined for greatness with a million-dollar smile and a fierce competitive spirit. She was scoring varsity goals as a freshman for the Eagles, however, late in her freshman season, Sutton was diagnosed with cancer. That’s when “Team Tessa” was born, bringing together local high schools together for “Team Tessa” throughout her battle with cancer.
Sutton’s teammates and coach remember her strength and her ability to bring people together.
