The crowds at the Memorial Tournament are only growing in size, with the biggest still to come on Friday and Saturday.

Fans are gathered. Friends are here. Families are making new memories.

Everyone here is celebrating community and the sport of golf.

“Golf is for everybody, no matter the age, no matter the height, weight, size,” Corey Lynn-Patton, freshman collegiate golfer at Wilberforce University, said. “If somebody can swing a golf club, you’re going to have fun out there, as long as you give it a try.”

Lynn-Patton leads the way for Wilberforce University to win the Morehouse Invitational. This is his second year attending the Memorial Tournament.

It’s an annual tradition for many fans, even the kids.

“Walking around and trying to get some autographs, seeing the pros, and having a lot of fun,” William Yoder, age nine, said.

This is his fifth year attending, just like his buddy Micah Lewis.

The two share a love of golf and an appreciation of this annual tradition.
