The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Association of California School Administrators with respect to their recent data breach. On September 24, 2023, Association of California School Administrators became aware of suspicious activity in its computer environment that involved the encryption of certain files. Association of California School Administrators promptly launched an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the event. The investigation determined that between September 23rd and 24th, 2023, an unauthorized actor gained access to certain systems and accessed or may have taken certain information contained therein. The following information that was accessed included the following: individuals name, address, Social Security number, employer assigned identification number, and online account credentials.
