WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA—A woman claims that her ex-boyfriend showed up at her job at a Warrington McDonald’s, trapped her in his car and repeatedly threatened to kill her before she escaped.

On April 23, police went to the McDonald’s on Metro Drive near the Walmart for the report of a man making threats. The McDonald’s employee said her ex-boyfriend, Darlin Pillajo, 29, told her that he had items to give her for their child. When she entered the back seat of his car to retrieve the items, Pillajo allegedly closed the door behind her, trapping her inside the car.

The victim said that Pillajo got in the car and headed north on Easton Road. The victim said she repeatedly told Pillajo to stop and let her out of the car, but he refused. She told police that every time she unlocked the door, Pillajo immediately locked it again.

The victim said that while he was driving, Pillajo threatened to kill her and gave her details on how he planned to murder her. She said she saw items in the car that matched Pillajo’s description of how he planned to kill her.

The victim was able to call her manager at McDonald’s and leave the phone line open. The victim was also able to send her location to her manager using her phone.

When the car was about two miles from the McDonald’s, the victim was able to open the door and stick her foot out of the car. Pillajo allegedly stopped the car at that point, which allowed the victim to flee.

Pillajo was taken to Bucks County Prison after he failed to make 10% of $50,000 cash bail.
