A man was jailed after an alleged disturbance in the Melrose area early Saturday morning.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 3:00 a.m. the 25-year old allegedly broke numerous windows out of vehicles in the 200 block of Silver Maple Street. The suspect also allegedly pushed a victim and dragged her on the concrete causing abrasions. He was charged with first-degree criminal mischief and for harassment.

He was detained without bail.
