DCPD in search of suspect who stole vehicle

DOUGHERTY COUNTY, Ga. – On Monday, May 22, 2023, at approximately 1:15 p.m., the Dougherty County Police Department (DCPD) was dispatched to 2806 N. Jefferson Street in reference to a theft of a silver in color 2021 Chevrolet Trail Blazer (Tag #SBR6365) at gunpoint. The female victim, who was giving the offender a ride, was not harmed.

DCPD is still in pursuit of the vehicle and the offender, who is identified as a black male, approximately 5’ 10” to 6’ in height with a muscular build and dreadlocks. If anyone has any knowledge of
the location of this vehicle or offender, please contact the Dougherty County Police Department at 229-430-6600 or Crime Stoppers at 229-436-TIPS.
