DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — A Dothan woman is behind bars after police say she attempted to run over several pedestrians and assaulted a nurse and patrol officers at the hospital during a rampage Wednesday afternoon.

The woman, 66-year-old Robin Osoborne Morse, is charged with one count of assault in the second degree and two counts of harassment. Additional charges are pending.

According to Dothan Police, at around 4:30 p.m., Morse tried to run over pedestrians in the 800 block of Memphis Street in her SUV, but after missing them, she pulled over and began yelling at the pedestrians before accelerating and crashing into a home. No pedestrians were injured on Memphis Street.

Police say Morse drove away and crashed her car twice more, one time at the intersection of Third Avenue and Pleasent Drive and the second time at the intersection of Haven Drive and Ross Clark Circle.

A report from Dothan Police claims after the third crash, Morse was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and while at the hospital, she became disorderly and kicked a nurse and two officers.
