Dothan commissioners finalized a deal this week to move downtown renovations forward.
They leased the Opera House from a public building authority the commission created.
That comes ahead of renovations planned for the historic building this summer.
Schools will bring their collected bottle tabs to the Enterprise McDonald's on Thursday, with those tabs being recycled and turned into money donations.
Organizations have expressed interest in partnering with the facility to ensure kids are being treated fairly following allegations the camp has recently faced.
