CCI Speer Academic All-Star: Orofino High School Senior, Libby Bradbury
OROFINO, Idaho – For Libby Bradbury, what began as a bit of sibling rivalry, blossomed into a lasting motivation for academic success. "In elementary school, I always looked up to my older brother and he would always get the pretty little rainbow ribbons whenever he got on the highest honor roll, and I wanted to be just like him. So I started trying to study up and get the best grades I could and it just became a habit," Libby said.
Pittsburg Landing Boat Launch/Campground to have restricted access due to road maintenance
HELLS CANYON – (Release by Wallowa-Whitman National Forest) The Pittsburg Landing boat launch and campground will have limited access from 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 12th, through Wednesday, May 15th, for maintenance (chip sealing) to the road from the cattle guard to the edge of the boat ramp, and the campground loop. One lane to the boat ramp will remain open throughout the maintenance period. The campground will be closed until the afternoon of May 15th.
