Weekly Safety Report: Shooting and Apartment Fire Disrupt Waldorf, Maryland
Two incidents occurred in Waldorf, Maryland this week. The first incident involved a non-fatal shooting that took place on October 29. An altercation between two males in a business led to an unknown person shooting the victim, who was later hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect, Aaron Dupree Jackson-McCauley, was identified and arrested on December 6. The second incident was an apartment fire on December 4. The fire occurred in the Hunters Run Apartments and was reported by a caller who noticed curtains on fire. Fortunately, the family residing in the apartment escaped without injuries.
