Two Charged with Trafficking Fentanyl in Jackson County
Rutherford County -- June 7, 2024: On Tuesday, Investigators with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office A.C.E. Team,. began to investigate 127 Hill Street Ext, in Henrietta, after receiving information that large amounts of Fentanyl were located at this residence. Investigators conducted a knock and talk and received consent to search the residence.

Sylva's 10th annual Fireworks Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the Bridge Park. The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome the band Gotcha Groove to the stage for a performance from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. They are one of the southeast's finest bands. Franklin Elementary names Student Leaders of the Month
Each month, teachers and staff members at Franklin Elementary School focus on teaching a specific attribute students can learn and use to grow. Earlier this spring, in April, that attribute was being collaborative. The students selected for being collaborative were recognized and awarded a certificate.
