First Alert Forecast: Rain clears out today, Heat returns tomorrow
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Rain and clouds clear out today, then much warmer air takes over to kick off the new week. We’ll see some lingering rain showers this morning from the leftovers of Isaias. Rain should exit around lunchtime, then clouds move out, too. Clouds will clear west to east, so areas west of Nashville will have more opportunity to heat up and see sunshine. Highs in our western counties will be in the upper 70s. Low-to-mid 70s along the I-65 corridor. And the Plateau will only top out in the 60s today with clouds not clearing until around or after sunset.
