Juney's path to recovery was fraught with difficult decisions. Initially, veterinarians suggested re-fracturing Juney's jaw to correct the damage, but the procedure carried significant risks and would have been extremely traumatic. The surgery improved his ability to eat comfortably, and while his injuries remain cosmetically visible, they no longer cause him pain.

Juney's rehabilitation extended beyond his physical injuries. He needed time to adjust and learn to trust again. Slowly but surely, he began to show his true personality. Juney requires gradual introductions with other dogs and is good in the company of children, preferably over the age of seven. He is well-behaved on a leash, enjoys long walks, and cherishes the simple pleasure of being petted while sitting next to his owner at home. Although he is not fond of crates, he is house-trained and can adapt with patience and love.
