Two separate shootings occur minutes apart in Detroit, leaving three people dead

DETROIT (WWJ) - It was a deadly weekend in Detroit, where three people were killed in two shootings that occurred mere minutes apart over the weekend.

The first happened around 6:45 p.m. Sunday inside a home on Chapel Street on Detroit's west side. Detroit Police preliminary information provided said two men were fatally shot, believed to have been inside the location.

Moments later, around 6:50 p.m. on the city's east side, another shooting took place. Police tell WWJ the triple shooting was in the alley behind a location in the 15400 block of Fairmont. One man was killed in this incident west of Hayes Road.

Police say no arrests have been made in either case and there's no information on any suspects.
