Watch: Driver's eye view of the 2023 Detroit Grand Prix downtown course

It's Detroit Grand Prix weekend and, if you haven't seen the race course on the streets of downtown, it's quite a sight.

This is the first time in decades the annual IndyCar race in Detroit is not on Belle Isle as it returns to its roots, with a course that passes the iconic Renaissance Center, along Jefferson Ave. and several other busy Detroit streets.

The social media team at IndyCar shared a video of what the course looks like from the driver's point of view, using the camera from Josef Newgarden's car as he took a practice lap Friday.
