Detroit man hasn't been seen in a week since going out for lunch, police asking for tips

DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police are asking for help finding a missing man who hasn’t been seen since leaving a Sunday lunch a week ago on the city’s west side.

Stanley Mason, Sr., was last seen at a restaurant in the 15000 block of Livernois around 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, according to Detroit police.

Mason, 56, never returned to his home in 200 block of E. Buena Vista, according to police. Officials did not identify the restaurant Mason was last seen at.

Authorities are asking the public for tips finding Mason and bringing him home safely.

Mason is described as about 5-foot-9, 180 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen Mason or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call the Detroit Police Department’s 12th Precinct at 313-596-1201.
