Denver weather: More sunshine and warming to start week

DENVER ( KDVR ) — Mainly sunny skies are back across the Front Range on Monday with just above-average temperatures in the Denver weather forecast.
Weather today: Plenty of sunshine
Mostly sunny skies stick around to kick off the workweek, helping temperatures to climb. Afternoon highs will make it into the upper 60s with a light wind.
Clouds will slowly increase on Wednesday with highs near 70 degrees. A shower or storm is possible later in the day with a brisk wind pushing in.
Scattered showers can linger overnight and into Thursday morning. Thursday has extra clouds, brisk winds and cooler highs in the middle 50s.
Some sunshine will return to the forecast on Friday afternoon, allowing for highs to make it to the middle 60s. There is a small chance of a passing shower on Friday afternoon and evening.
Saturday starts the next weekend with a mix of sun and clouds, highs in the upper 60s and the chance for a shower.
Sunday will finish the weekend with sunny skies as highs make it into the middle 70s.
