Lighter winds tonight, mild and dry on Wednesday

A High Wind Warning is in effect for the northeastern plains until 6 p.m. with wind gusts near 65 mph. Lighter winds can be expected overnight.

Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories will end in the mountains after a major dump of snow early Tuesday. Snowfall was in the 12-18 inch range, bringing a rare mid-April powder day to many areas!

Expect more sunshine and highs in the upper 60s to low 70s on Wednesday. Enjoy the mild and dry weather because another colder front will bring colder air and unsettled weather throughout the rest of the week.

Thursday through Saturday will be chilly, with highs in the 40s for the Denver area and periods of rain and even some snow!

Warmer and drier weather will return starting Sunday.
