Sheriff's deputies in Volusia County say they are investigating a road rage incident that sent a woman to the hospital. The victim, a young woman from Sorrento, was in Deltona last night when she says a driver came up aggressively behind her and followed her for several minutes, hitting her vehicle from behind twice. The victim told deputies she got out at one point, and the suspect vehicle passed her but then reversed and hit her, briefly dragging her. Deputies say when the victim's father drove to the scene, the suspect tried to hit him too. They say the father threw a tomahawk he had in his vehicle at the suspect's vehicle, shattering a rear window. That's when the suspect finally took off.
