Michael Goodemoot was caught off guard. After putting together a strong freshman season as a running back on junior varsity, he was approached by Lakewood coach Tim Swore about playing on varsity as an offensive lineman. That was one of the needs Swore had upon taking over the Lakewood program in 2024. "I needed football players and I knew he was a football player," Swore said. Your boy is coming off back-to-back 7-1 weeks predicting high school football games in Battle Creek. What will that mean as we all get out of Battle Creek this week? We are about to find out. That leads us into our next Enquirer’s Pigskin
