This past weekend was one of the most active severe weather weekends in a long time across the US. Friday thourgh yesterday produced at least 79 tornadoes and when you add in the reports of wind and hail, we are talking nearly 1000 incidents of severe weather. This is the highest number since 2011 which is considered the most active severe weather year on record. Today we see severe weather risks shift back westward from the East Coast to Texas and Oklahoma. In fact the entire state of Texas is under either a "slight" or "enhanced" risk for severe weather with the Central part of the state at the highest risk.
