Florida mom accused of using daughter to steal Nintendo Switch from GameStop
VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. - A Florida mom is in jail after she allegedly used her daughter to steal a Nintendo Switch from a local GameStop store. Suzette Camacho, 45, of Deltona, was arrested on charges of grand theft and two counts for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, an arrest affidavit stated.
Daytona State College Board awards President Tom LoBasso with 4% pay raise, $50,000 bonus
The Daytona State College Board of Trustees has awarded college President Tom Lobasso a 4% raise and a $50,000 one-time payout. Board members made no comments Wednesday during their unanimous vote to ratify the amendment to LoBasso’s contract, which raises his salary to just over $350,000. With the payout − which amounts to a bonus that the board doesn't want to call a bonus because that term is not allowed under Florida law − his compensation tops $400,000.
