Police Investigate Homicide In Del City After 2 Found Dead

Police are investigating a homicide after two people were found dead earlier this month in a Del City home.

Del City Police said two people were found dead on May 11 at a home near Southeast 15th Street and South Sunnylane Road.

Police said once they entered the home, they found the two bodies decomposing in the bedroom.

Police initially said that there didn’t appear to be any signs of foul play, but they are now investigating this case as a homicide.

Major Mike Arterbury, with the Del City Police Department, said there's physical evidence that this is a murder-suicide.

Police said they believe a man shot his brother, who he was taking care of.

The Medical Examiner's Office is still determining the cause of death.
