8 arrested following overdose at suspected Alabama ‘one stop fentanyl shop’
Authorities in North Alabama have arrested eight people after finding an overdose victim and a juvenile in what they termed a “one stop fentanyl shop.”. The DeKalb County Drug Task Force, along with Sylvania Police Department and Dekalb County’s criminal investigators and deputies took part in the investigation.

Break-in at Bethel Baptist Church
From the Office of DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden:. FORT PAYNE, Ala. — On Thursday, October 26th, Geraldine Police Department responded to Bethel Baptist Church on County Road 391 in regards to a Burglary in which a male subject had broken into Bethel Baptist Church through a side window. The case was then forwarded to the Dekalb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and after identifying the male subject and the vehicle used in the Burglary. Cody Alan Ramsey (30 of Boaz) was arrested for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 4th. Assistance by Geraldine Police Department and Albertville Police Department was vital in bringing this case to a close.
