Ryan Reynolds Tells ‘The View’ He Once Walked In On Hugh Jackman Performing ‘The Greatest Showman’ For His Kids: “They Have No Idea How Good They Have It”
Reynolds and Jackman stopped by this morning’s episode of The View to promote their new movie, Deadpool & Wolverine . The two dished on their love-hate friendship, with Reynolds even doing an impression of Jackman right in front of him.

While Jackman wasn’t able to imitate his Canadian friend, he did say that he could parent Reynolds’ kids “very well.”
“Yeah, he does that very well,” Reynolds — who mostly speaks in jokes — confirmed, before telling Whoopi Goldberg , “I believe there’s four children now.”
The actor then recalled one instance in which he caught Jackman watching The Greatest Showman with his kids.
“I’ve walked into my apartment before and I’ve heard The Greatest Showman playing. And my kids love The Greatest Showman. It’s the one thing that we don’t see eye-to-eye on,” Reynolds quipped. “And I’m like, girls, guys, ‘Let’s watch The Exorcist. ’”
“I came around the corner and I heard them all singing along,” Reynolds continued. “And what do I see? I see Jackman here in front of the TV acting out the parts — all of it — with my kids. They have no idea how good they have it.”
Reynolds and Lively share James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4 and one-year-old Olin, whose name wasn’t revealed until earlier this week.
Jackman — who played the lead role of P.T. Barnum in the 2017 musical — noted that one of the Reynolds children wasn’t as impressed with his performance.
“Betty looked at me when I was acting it out and she just went,” he said as he put two thumbs down. “When you get the double thumbs down from Betty, it’s over.”
Can we really blame her? The girl has a Taylor Swift song named after her! That’s a hard one to beat.
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
