WATCH: Crews fight fire at funeral home in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Firefighters responded to a fire at Advent Funeral and Cremation Services in the Falls Church area of Farifax County Sunday afternoon.

In a post on X at 3:35 p.m., the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department said crews were on the scene of a building fire in the 7200 block of Route 29.

When units arrived, a fire was showing with heavy smoke. Crews from Fairfax County, the City of Falls Church and Arlington County responded.

Units extinguished the fire, and fire investigators were on the scene.

No one was injured.

A resident in Falls Church captured a video of the dark smoke in the air after the fire broke out.
