ALL RIGHT. GOT SOME BREAKING NEWS ALONG OUR COAST RIGHT NOW. EVOLUTION BEACH SAFETY JUST RESCUED THREE PEOPLE, ALL FROM DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS THERE IN DAYTONA BEACH. OFFICIALS SAY THAT THEY WERE IN AN UNGUARDED AREA, NOT NEXT TO A LIFEGUARD TOWER. OTHER SWIMMERS IN THE AREA PULLED ONE OF THEM OUT OF THE WATER WHO WAS UNRESPONSIVE AND STARTED CPR UNTIL THE LIFEGUARDS COULD GET TO THEM. ALL THREE OF THEM HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL. WE ALSO FOUND OUT THAT A 76 YEAR OLD MAN DIED AFTER HE GOT RESCUED YESTERDAY. WE’RE TAKING A LIVE LOOK RIGHT NOW TOWARDS NEW SMYRNA BEACH. A 76-year-old man who was found unresponsive in the water on Daytona Beach Shores on Thursday has died, officials say.He was apparently swimming with his grandson when it happened.The man was taken to the hospital, where he died.It’s possible the man suffered a medical issue, officials say. And it’s unclear if he was caught in a rip current. Three other people were rescued from dangerous rip currents in Daytona Beach on Friday.Officials say they were in an unguarded area–not near a lifeguard tower.Other swimmers in the area pulled one of them out of the water who was unresponsive and started CPR until lifeguards got to them.
