Huston in concert at benefit rodeo
Thousands attend the SETHRA-CASA benefit each year and in just over two weeks, this year should be no different. The rodeo is set for Friday, May 31, and Saturday, June 1 at Coops Creek Commons, 298 Pine Street, in downtown Dunlap. An added attraction this year are nightly concerts by singer Dusty Huston.
RCHS holds Family Fun Day at fairgrounds
Rhea County High School held a Family Fun Day on Tuesday, May 7, at the Rhea County Fairgrounds in Evensville for seniors. The event featured games, live entertainment and vendor booths, as well as informational booths from local organizations.
ArtsBuild To Receive $25,000 Grant From The NEA
ArtsBuild announces it has been approved by the National Endowment for the Arts for a Grants for Arts Projects award of $25,000. This grant will support an increase in the number of Community Cultural Connections grants ArtsBuild can offer in the upcoming fiscal year. In total, the NEA will award 1,135 Grants for Arts Projects across the country --- totaling more than $37 million as part of its second round of fiscal year 2024 grants, officials said.
