DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Two people were killed Wednesday in a crash.

Dayton police posted officers were dispatched Wednesday to the 3700 block of Germantown Pike in Dayton for a reported crash.

Committal service held for Greenville veteran

Police believe the driver of a vehicle was headed westbound on Germantown Pike, when the driver allegedly lost control, went left of center and hit a semi.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office reported being on-scene at the intersection. According to the post, two people inside of the vehicle were reportedly not wearing a seat belt. They both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Since the semi driver suffered minor injuries, they were taken to an area hospital.
