Laura Jaeger steps down as athletic director at Central Catholic, moving to new role with Rams
After an 11-year tenure as the athletic director at Central Catholic, Laura Jaeger has announced that she’ll be moving to a new position with the southeast Portland school. “After much contemplation, I have made the decision to step away as Athletic Director and transition to a new role at Central Catholic for the upcoming school year,” Jaeger wrote in a letter shared with the school on Monday. “This new role will allow me to work directly with students and provide them with the extra support they require to be successful. This role is closely aligned with my background and passions, and I am excited to get back to working more closely with students, as I did when I served as Dean of Students.”
