Mavericks agree to deal with shooting guard Seth Curry

For the third time in his 11-year career, Seth Curry is a Dallas Maverick.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Tim MacMahon of ESPN, Curry will sign a two-year deal worth around $8 million via the team's biannual exception.

Curry will bring some offensive punch to the Mavs' second unit in the form of his three-point shooting, as he is a career 43.5 percent shooter from deep.

In 61 games with the Brooklyn Nets last season, Curry averaged 9.2 points on 46 percent shooting from the field and 40.5 percent shooting from three.

In his two seasons with Dallas (2016-17 and 2019-20), Curry averaged 12.6 points 48.7 percent shooting from the field and 43.9 percent shooting from deep.

Curry has career averages of 11 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
