(WBAP/KLIF) — A march to honor the nation’s war dead takes place in Dallas this weekend.
The 20-hour march runs along the Katy Trail beginning at Reverchon Park and continues through the night into Memorial Day, as Dallas focuses on those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.. Carry the Load is sponsoring the event and Josh Lewis invites the public to march, enjoy live entertainment, and a kids zone. Lewis says the Dallas Memorial March begins at 3:45 p.m. Sunday and runs through the night.
The walk honors armed forces men and women who gave all for our freedoms and Lewis says the march is open to the public and is meant to draw attention to the true meaning of memorial day. For more information on Carry the Load’s Memorial Day festivities, click here to visit their website.
