Good morning, Northeast Divison is having its Annual Kids Heath & Safety Fair, with special attention being paid to Special Needs Families. This years fair will be at Lake Highlands High School 9449 Church Road. as you know we average 4000 to 5000 attendees each year. Dallas PD | Car Fire Rescue
On Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 6:43 p.m., officers working the Southeast Patrol Division saw a black cloud of smoke after answering a call near the 6900 block of Scyene Road. They went to investigate and saw that there was a major accident involving multiple vehicles. The accident involved six vehicles. Multiple callers called 911 and reported that one of the vehicles had caught fire and an individual was trapped inside the vehicle.
LGBTQ+ Liaison Virtual Meet and Greet
In the ’90s, the Dallas Police Department added an LGBTQ+ Liaison to our Community Engagement efforts. Since then the Liaison has focused on building positive relationships to addresses the unique safety concerns within the LGBTQ+ community. Senior Corporal Amber Roman took a detective position and has been working to train the newly appointed LGBTQ+ Liaison Officer, Chelsea Geist.

Online shopping has made life easy for all of us, including package thieves, better known as porch pirates. The Dallas Police Department would like to give some safety tips for package delivery. We hope that these tips will help keep your packages out of the hands of those pesky porch pirates.
