A follow-up drug investigation in Dallas County leads to two arrests.
It was last Wednesday when a Dallas County deputy located a vehicle matching a description of a suspect vehicle driving on Highway 65. The vehicle didn’t have a front license plate and was speeding.
When the deputy stopped the driver, a K9 officer gave a positive identification of drugs. A search resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and items indicating the drugs were being sold.
Cleo Sarpy of Buffalo was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance, while Mathew McMannamy of Springfield was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.Â
