The Dallas County Conservation Board is getting people who are 18 years or older together for a fun adventure.

They are having an “Adults Only Hike,” from 7 to 8pm at the Voas Nature Area in Minburn on Thursday. Outreach Coordinator Sarah Gilchrist tells Raccoon Valley Radio this is an event for adults to sneak away from children for a period of time and enjoy nature.

“Maybe some people just want to kind of be at an ‘adults only’ event and it has a little bit of a different focus and you can maybe hike farther and that kind of thing. So it’s not meant to be for matchmaking or anything like that. We’re not speed dating here, but it is a program just for adults. So get a babysitter or whatever and just come on out and there’ll be a naturalist-led hike and you can see what’s going on in June at Voas Nature Area.”

The “Adults Only Hike,” is free and registration is only necessary to be notified if the event gets canceled.
