Man Wanted For Unlawfully Possessing Weapon In Somerset County: Prosecutor

James Schoenknecht was named Somerset County's Fugitive of the Month for August by the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office. He has remained at large since he was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of a prohibited weapon or device since an incident that occurred on June 26, 2021 in Sound Bound Brook.

Schoenknecht is believed to be in Cranford or Naples, Fla, authorities said. Anyone with information on Schoenknecht's whereabouts should contact the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit.
