A 19-year-old was recently arrested for allegedly breaking a car window, according to a Coffee County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

The report states that on August 8, a 46-year-old man contacted an official with the CCSO to report an incident of criminal damage to property that occurred in April.

The man claimed that on April 1, his daughter was driving his 2017 Chevy Equinox when Jamie Polk, 19, of Douglas, broke the window of the vehicle.

According to the car owner, the damages cost $545.38 to repair.

Polk was booked into the Coffee County Jail on August 21 on one count of criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree and was released shortly thereafter.
