CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cuyahoga Falls police are investigating a fight in which two men were stabbed early Thursday morning.

Officers responded at 3:15 p.m. to 423 Sackett Ave. They found a man lying outside on the ground with multiple wounds “that appear to have been caused by a knife,” police said.

Cuyahoga Falls paramedics transported the man to a hospital in Akron, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.

Police said a second man also suffered stab-type wounds during “a physical altercation.” He was taken to Western Reserve Hospital by a friend. He was treated and released.

Officers confiscated marijuana and blood-covered articles of clothing, including shorts and a towel, according to a police report.
