Cecil Thomas Castleberry, age 88, of Cunningham, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at his home.
Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Halliburton officiating. Burial will follow at Louise United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Cecil entered this life on February 13, 1935, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Homer and Hattie Hayes Castleberry. He was a member of Louise United Methodist Church, a veteran of the United States Army and retired maintenance foreman from Conwood Corporation.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Billy Castleberry, Louise Steinheimer, and Mary Davis.
Survivors include his wife, Robbie Robertson Castleberry; sons, Darian (Dawn) Castleberry, and Mark (Julie) Castleberry; grandchildren, Rhett (Emily) Castleberry, Garrett Castleberry, Spencer Castleberry, Drake Castleberry, Emery Castleberry, and great-grandchild, Madelyn Castleberry, and sister, Emily “Cleo” Wynn.
Pallbearers will be Rhett Castleberry, Garrett Castleberry, Spencer Castleberry, Drake Castleberry, Mike Castleberry, and Jerry Castleberry. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Wynn, Steve Davis, Ronnie Davis, Bobby Davis, and Randy Davis.
