Maury Co. community donates baby items to parents of twins who lost home in tornado
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - People in Maury County are donating baby items to a family affected by the tornado on Wednesday. When Shelbie Holland, a mom of four girls, steps onto her front porch, it’s full of boxes and bags of baby items. Each one is from another mom or parent who also knows what it takes to raise a child.
One Killed After Tornado Touches Down in Maury County
A tornado touched down in Maury County on the afternoon of Wednesday May 8, leaving one person dead and major damage throughout the area. According to Maury County EMA, the tornado touched down around 5:45pm in the area of Blackburn Lane, Lee Road and Lucia Road. All side roads are currently closed and will remain closed indefinitely.
