Kankakee Valley enters the rankings while Munster, Hobart and Highland move up, and Griffith’s Mariah Green is the player of the week.

1. Lake Central 14-0 (1)

MaKayla Van Vossen goes 1-for-1 with two walks, an RBI, two runs scored and three stolen bases in the Indians’ win against Crown Point on Monday.

2. Andrean 12-1 (2)

Maggie Voliva goes 4-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored in the 59ers’ win against Highland on Tuesday.

3. Crown Point 6-4 (3)

Ashlyn Kita goes 4-for-4 with a homer, a triple, a double, four RBIs and two runs scored in the Bulldogs’ win against LaPorte on Wednesday.

Emily Siurek and the Mustangs collect their 11th straight win by edging Highland in eight innings on Thursday.

Player of the Week

Griffith senior Mariah Green goes 4-for-4 with five RBIs, three walks and four stolen bases in victories against Calumet and Lake Station and also picks up the win in the former game.
