Baseball Game Preview: Crete-Monee Leaves Home
Crete-Monee is 8-0 against Thornridge since May of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Crete-Monee Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Thornridge Falcons at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Crete-Monee has four straight victories, Thornridge has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

In a voice filled with heartache and strength, she shared the news that Williams had transitioned from this life to rest in the next, leaving a void in our hearts and a legacy.

On April 20, MHS students had their prom dance at Schererville’s Villa Cesare Banquets & Events venue. At this dance, Seniors Lauren Hoogeveen and DeAnthony Bowden were crowned Prom Queen and King.
Crown Point Police Purchase Body Cameras
Effective this fall, all Crown Point police officers will wear a body camera while on duty. At its Wednesday, May 15, meeting, the Board of Public Works and Safety unanimously approved the purchase of body cameras and new TASERs for the Crown Point Police Department. Currently, the department has 51 full-time sworn officers.

INDOT reduces speed limit through U.S. 30 work zone
