Local Woman Allegedly Caught on Camera Stealing from Walmart on 23 Separate Occasions Since March

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A local woman is in hot water for reportedly stealing items from Walmart in Cranberry Township on 23 separate occasions dating back to March.

According to a release issued by PSP Franklin on Wednesday, June 7, troopers were dispatched to Walmart on Kimberly Lane in Cranberry Township, Venango County, for a report of retail theft at 4:19 p.m. on Thursday, May 4.

Police say a known 27-year-old Seneca woman was in custody with a member of Walmart Loss Prevention.

Upon review of the security camera footage and speaking with Walmart employees, it was discovered the suspect stole miscellaneous items from the store on 23 separate occasions between the dates of March 15 and May 4, according to police.

The total of the stolen items amounted to $658.61, police say.

A criminal complaint against the suspect was filed through Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey’s office.

The suspect’s name was not released.
