BILL SCHMIDT IS ON THE LIVE DESK. ROB, JULIE, THIS IS THE AFTERMATH. THE 12 BY 12 FOOT HOLE IN THE BUSINESS. POLICE SAY A 26 YEAR OLD WORKER WENT TO THE HOSPITAL, BUT DIDN’T TAKE AN AMBULANCE. AND THE INJURIES ARE NOT LIFE THREATENING. TAKE A LOOK AT THESE PICTURES SENT TO US BY COUNCIL BLUFFS. POLICE FROM THE INSIDE. YOU CAN SEE MORE THAN HALF OF THE FORD F-150 IN THE BUILDING AND DAMAGE TO THE GLASS PARTITION OFFICES THAN ON THE OUTSIDE THE BED OF THE TRUCK STICKING OUT WITH STREAKS OF MULCH ON THE SIDEWALK. THE DRIVER OF 76 YEAR OLD IOWA MAN WASN’T HURT. POLICE SAY THE TRUCK DIDN’T IMPACT ANY MAJOR STRUCTURAL POINTS OF THE BUILDING, AND IT’S UNCLEAR IF ANY TICKETS WERE HANDED OUT. A 26-year-old man was injured after a truck crashed into a building on Monday morning in Council Bluffs.Around 11:13 a.m., officers responded to Camping World, located on South 21st Street — just off Interstate 29, for a personal injury crash after a vehicle drove into the building, according to Council Bluffs police.Investigators said a 2023 Ford F-150 Supercrew drove up over the parking stall in front of Camping World and into the building.A worker was sitting at a desk inside the building and was struck and propelled forward, according to authorities.The worker, a 26 year old from Omaha, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital by private vehicle, Council Bluffs police said.The driver of the vehicle was unharmed.The crash is still under investigation.Get the latest headlines from KETV NewsWatch 7

A 26-year-old man was injured after a truck crashed into a building on Monday morning in Council Bluffs.

Around 11:13 a.m., officers responded to Camping World, located on South 21st Street — just off Interstate 29, for a personal injury crash after a vehicle drove into the building, according to Council Bluffs police.

Investigators said a 2023 Ford F-150 Supercrew drove up over the parking stall in front of Camping World and into the building.

A worker was sitting at a desk inside the building and was struck and propelled forward, according to authorities.

The worker, a 26 year old from Omaha, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital by private vehicle, Council Bluffs police said.

The driver of the vehicle was unharmed.

The crash is still under investigation.
