by Ronald Clark
Oregon State's Travis Bazzana #37 looks to throw to first base for the double play. The Oregon State Beavers upset the No. 25 Oregon Ducks 12-2 in the three-game series at PK Park on April 9, 2023, in Eugene, Ore. Oregon State took an early lead in the top of the first inning 5-0 with a grand slam. Oregon ended up using eight pitchers to stop Oregon State's scoring rhythm but only could for four innings as they scored five runs in the last two. Oregon pitchers combined allowed two home runs and nine hits. It wasn't until the bottom eighth that Oregon had a hit. Oregon began to rally a comeback by scoring two runs in the bottom eighth and ninth, but it was too late. Photo by Kevin Neri
