It's a rivalry weekend for Ducks and Beavers softball as both teams have yet to win a Pac-12 series this season - but that's guaranteed to change when these two square off in Corvallis.
The Ducks are coming off dropping two of three to No. 3 UCLA over the weekend.
After three straight weekends of facing top-ten opponents, Oregon is facing an OSU team that hasn't won back-to-back games in nearly four weeks.
It’s a prime opportunity for the Ducks to get a road series victory and bragging rights against their rivals.
"I think it would mean a lot,” said Ducks junior outfielder Hanna Delgado. “We're looking to sweep but it will be a lot, especially against Oregon State. They're our rivals, so I think that's what we're looking for this weekend."
"Every time we play Oregon State, it doesn't matter our records, our statistics,” said Ducks head coach Missy Lombardi. “It's an in-state rivalry so both teams always show up and play their best and that's what I would expect this weekend."
As long as the weather holds, Ducks and Beavers first pitch is set for Friday at 6 p.m.
