On March 19, at approximately 10:35 p.m., the Corvallis Police Department responded to the area of NW 9th Street near NW Walnut Blvd on a report of two vehicles ramming each other while traveling westbound on NW Walnut Blvd. Additionally, the caller reported hearing a gunshot.
According to a release from the Corvallis Police Department, officers quickly located both vehicles and safely detained who they believe to be all involved persons in the area.
No injuries were reported in the incident, although officials believe a firearm was fired at least one time by the involved subjects during the altercation.
Two persons were initially arrested on unrelated warrants during the investigation, which is ongoing.
Corvallis Police say the incident spanned over many blocks in North Corvallis beginning at approximately 10:09 p.m. until 10:40 p.m.
The involved vehicles are described as a black mid-size SUV and a black minivan.
