The Oregon State softball team was looking forward to winning game three of the series between the Beavers and Golden Bears, but due to time constraints the game ended in the eighth inning tied 5-5.
The Beavers had all the momentum after being down by three heading into the third to tie it in the seventh, but Oregon State would have to settle with a tie in the game and in the series.
Frankie Hammoude hit her fourth homerun of the season in the first inning to put the Beavers on the board. 1-0.
Then in the third, Cal earns a three-run lead until Kaiea Higa hit a line drive up the middle to bring home Grace Messmer, cutting the lead to 2.
In the fourth, Eliana Gottlieb snuck one down the first baseline and Jade Soto would score to cut the Golden Bear's lead to 1.
Oregon State will travel to Stanford to take on the Cardinal next weekend.
