Oregon State finished up their second week of Spring ball Saturday afternoon. Day six was the second time Spring practice was held in Reser Stadium this year.
Practice was full go, with players wearing all of their pads and live tackling, with the exception of hitting the quarterback.
The defense came out on top of most of the scrimmage periods Saturday, which is nothing new for OSU. Their defense was ahead of the offense at this point last year as well.
But that doesn't mean there weren't some speaks on their side of the ball, freshman quarterback, Aidan Chiles, continues to impress in his reps during Spring practices.
Which bodes well for the future of Oregon State, and their ultimate goals going forward.
Oregon State Head Coach Jonathan Smith says, "You want to improve each year. In ways we've been able to accomplish that. Each year is new, it's not easy to win so there's guaranteed just cause we've done something previous that is going to continue. We all want to work, and the goal is to compete for championships."
The Beavers will now take a break and return to the practice field on April 6th.
